Great experience. Eric, a representative from The Crack Guys, came out and quickly addressed the issues. I was concerned about certain aspects of the job, so a second representative, John, came out to get more eyes on the problems with my foundation. Both John and Eric basically told me, "Look, we'll do whatever you ask us to do. If you want more helical piers and straps, we'll do it, but we only want to do what's necessary to fix the issues."
In contrast, I had talked to multiple companies by this point, and some of their solutions seemed like overkill, such as carbon strapping the entire basement instead of just the necessary areas or installing far more helical piers than needed. I felt The Crack Guys only recommended what was necessary to restore the integrity of my foundation.
Gonzolo and his two crew members (whose names I unfortunately can't remember because I only have Gonzolo's phone number) showed up on time, were very professional and respectful, and completed the job quickly without damaging anything. They had to work under a deck, so operating the mini excavator to install the helical piers was more challenging than it normally would have been. They didn't damage the deck above them or the rock façade along the wall they were digging under.
After about a day and a half, they had installed three helical piers and lifted my foundation about a quarter of an inch without cracking or damaging any of the surrounding structure. Meanwhile, another worker inside prepared and installed roughly 15 carbon straps to reinforce the stacked cinder block basement walls. They cleaned up thoroughly, and the entire job took about three days.
Unfortunately, the only reason this work was needed was because I had previously hired a dangerously incompetent contractor (who has no affiliation with The Crack Guys) who, in only two weeks, caused extensive damage to my foundation. It was honestly impressive how much damage one person was able to do in such a short period of time.
The Crack Guys also offer financing through an unaffiliated lending company with a deferred-interest option if you qualify. Basically, you don't have to make payments for a year, but if the balance isn't paid off before then, the deferred interest is applied. It won't be the best option for everyone, but in my situation it was very helpful because I believe insurance may ultimately cover the damage caused by the previous contractor. The deferred-interest option allowed me to have the repairs completed immediately instead of waiting for the insurance process to play out.
I would definitely recommend Eric, John, Gonzolo, and the rest of Gonzolo's crew.

I’ve been networking & partnering with Patrick Reist for years. He’s sharp as a tack, a wealth of knowledge and a good person. When foundation repair or anything related to crack repair around a property comes up, he’s the first person I think of!

The best experience possible for such a nerve racking problem. Lance spent just about an entire day inspecting the project and giving me an estimate which was super close to the final cost. He always answered my texts promptly and thoroughly.
Nate was the foreman over the actual labor. He was also great at communicating with me for the duration of the project. Just super nice, helpful guys. The ladies in the office were really helpful too.

Andy was very thorough with his inspection. He stayed 3 hours when he could’ve stayed for 1. We were very impressed with his knowledge and workmanship. He look forward to working with him on our upcoming projects.

I really appreciate this company and the work they did from the rep, David, that came to the house to work up an estimate and share information about the repairs and the company. The crew that came out and actually installed the pillars were great! I got to watch the process and ask questions, which they answered and explained throughout the time they were installing the pillars. The gentleman even spread out some dirt that was piled up close to my house. Then, the guys came back to seal the brick. It looks like they did a jam up job! Before and after pics attached.
